Google to hold Project Ara developers conference

CALIFORNIA: Google is going to be showing off some cool stuff at its 2nd Project Ara developers The Ara project is designed to provide a consumer-ready platform for modular smartphone tech, letting users buy and swap out individual components like cameras, processors and sensors in configurations of their choosing.

The company is livestreaming all the goodness from Google’s headquarters in Mountain View, California, and will be talking about all the new modules being developed by companies like Nvidia and Marvell, among others, as well as a product roadmap for the MDK (Module Developer Kit) shipping soon.
