WASHINGTON: Google’s news tablet Nexus 9 is likely to come to surface on Wednesday exactly 24 hours before Apple’s launch of next-generation tablets.
Built by HTC, the new tablet will be the third in the Nexus model line after Nexus 7. November 3 will be the date for Nexus 9 hitting the shops with a $399 asking price, $100 cheaper than an iPad Air.
Nexus 9 will have a higher than HD 9-inch display with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution so apps and movies will be rendered beautifully. It will be using a Nvidia K1 processor providing great gaming capabilities. It will also be the first device to come with the very latest version of Android — build ‘L’ — preinstalled.
