SYDNEY: As the privacy and personal security of users are gaining more popularity on the technological arena nowadays, it’s quite evident that Google VPN engaged with Android 5.1 at the right time. The most important feature of VPN is the security it has been providing for the users even if they’re connected online via Wi-Fi.

Hence it’s certainly sure that Google will expand this feature for the Smartphone users in the upcoming days, although they’re still working on its proper creation.

The latest feature has been successfully experimented on Nexus 6 through its “Google Connectivity Services” via Android 5.1 Lollipop version.

For enabling this feature, users can go directly to Settings > Applications. The memory allotted for this specific application is 4.94MB. Presently, Google Connectivity Services is merely showcased on the application list, however it can’t be installed. There are a few tricks available to enable this feature as a solution though. Once it’s been launched, a user can view Google VPN pop-up which explains: “To help protect you on open Wi-Fi networks, user’s data will be transmitted securely through a Google VPN.”

There is “got it” option available over there. Users will be directed to support page of Google if tried to access/ install this feature on device.

However, even after the activation of Wi-Fi, the Google VPN wasn’t accessible for the users which clearly indicate that Google has been setting plans to include this feature for the Smartphone users in the near future.
