LAHORE: The stay order obtained by Gourmet Foods in a tax evasion case involving Rs 8.9 million is going to expire on September 11, 2015.
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax Office-II (RTO-II) Lahore had audited the record of Gourmet Foods and found tax discrepancies to the tune of Rs 8.9 million.
Following the charges of tax evasion, the company moved the Inland Revenue Appellate Tribunal Lahore against the audit report made by RTO-II, where Judicial Member of Tribunal, Shahid Iqbal Dhillon, heard the case and issued one month stay order.
