Governor approves to give additional charge of AG to AGP

GILGIT: Governor Gilgit Baltistan (GB), Mir Ghazanfar Ali Khan has formally approved to give additional charge of Auditors General (AG) GB to the Auditors General of Pakistan (AGP), Javed Jhangir.On the advice of Prime Minister of Pakistan, the Governor has signed a summary by formally giving additional charge of AG to AGP, said a statement here on Tuesday.

The Governor said that AGP Javed Jhangir was highly committed, honest and upright officer with vast managerial experience, who will play his key role in strengthening of the institution in the province besides making transparent auditing of all the government departments.It would help expedite pace of economic development besides addressing people’s problems, the Governor noted.
