Governor Mahtab urges foreign investors to invest in KPK

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KPK) Governor Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan said that Mohmand Marble city Project will pave ways towards economic development for the people of FATA, besides urging the overseas Pakistanis and foreign investors to invest in this region to ensure stable gains.

This project is based on local resources and will proof beneficial for the people of FATA as it will pave ways towards economic development, provides opportunities for employment and will play a pivotal role in economic stability, he said, adding no more delay will be tolerated in the completion of this project.

He expressed these views during his visit to Mohmand Marble City on Tuesday. He was also accompanied by Additional Chief Secretary FATA Mohammad Aslam Kambwa.        In Mohmand Marble City, the Governor was given a detailed briefing about the layout of Mohmand Marble City and was mentioned in the briefing that 82 percent of the work has been completed and it will be make operational in coming financial year.

The Governor directed the authority concerned to expedite the remaining pending work. While referring to various other points, the Governor directed the official to complete the boundary walls of standard length on priority basis in order to ensure full protection and security.

He emphasized upon the overseas Pakistanis and foreign investors to invest in this region where huge potential is available for foreign investment.

The Governor said that Mohmand Industrial Estate would play an effective role in bringing about development in FATA and reiterated that marble city would be extended and it should make accessible to market so that people of FATA could be benefited.
