Governor Punjab awards “Sitaara-e-Imtiaz” to Khawaja Masud Akhtar

SIALKOT: Government of Pakistan has conferred upon Sitaara-e-Imtiaz to Sialkot based leading soccer balls manufacturer and exporter Khawaja Masud Akhtar in acknowledgement of his decades long meritorious services for Sialkot’s sports goods industry and bringing modern manufacturing and technical  innovations and advanced technologies to Sialkot industry as well.

Governor of Punjab Ch. Muhammad Sarwar awarded “Sitaara-e-Imtiaz” to Khawaja Masud Akhtar during a special ceremony held at Governor House Lahore  Mach 23, 2019. Khawaja Masud Akhtar is now President  of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI).

He had earned global pride for Pakistan and even for Sialkot sports industry by producing official famous “Brazuca Football” for 2014 Brazil Football FIFA World Cup and official “Tel Star” Football for 2018 Russia Football FIFA World Cup as well.

Khawaja Masud Akhtar, while taking to the newsmen here today has termed this award for him by the government as major achievement for Sialkot’s sports industry.
