Govt govt implement trade policy in letter and spirit: Mansoor Ahmad

SIALKOT: Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) President Major (r) Mansoor Ahmed has said that exporters are facing hardships due to non-implementation of trade policy. He said that the government has announced this policy after a lapse of nine months. He said that the government should take some positive steps to facilitate exporters.

Talking to Customs Today, Mansoor Ahmed said that the government should avoid take temporary measures, rather the government should take serious notice for betterment of export sector.

He said it is a positive move that the government has released cheques of rebate refund to exporter up to Rs 5 million and hoped the government will clear other rebate funds soon.

He said that the Custom department should remove all faults in WeBOC so that the export process forward smoothly.

He advised government not to create hurdles in export process whereas government try to give facilities to exporters so that exporters increase their export.
