Govt introducing tax reforms: Chaudhary Shafiq

LAHORE: The government is introducing tax reforms and taking a number of steps to overcome the energy crises and.

Provincial Minister for Industries, Commerce and Investment Chaudhary Muhammad Shafiq said this while addressing the inaugural ceremony of two-day International Color and Chem Expo arranged by Punjab Dyes and Chemical Association at Civic Center Canal Road Faisalabad.

Chairman Expo event Raheem Chughtai, Chairman All Pakistan Textile Processing Association Sh. Saeed Ahmad, President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) Ch. Muhammad Nawaz, and a large number of delegates from country and abroad were also present at the inaugural ceremony.

The minister said the government is following solid and effective policies for the promotion of business and investment and comprehensive one window operation system under the arrangement of Punjab Industrial Department is being set up for providing all relevant facilities under one roof to the entrepreneurs in this regard.

He said that his department was providing all-out facilities to the investors for the establishment of industries and launching different trades and business.

He said all chambers and commerce and business organizationc in Punjab had been taken on board for the formulating of business policies and redressal their issues and problems. He said the government had started a programme for the skilled development and target had been fixed to impart the 2 million people training with different trade and skills.
