Govt revises basic pay scales, allowances for federal govt employees

KARACHI: The Finance Division has issued an office memorandum on “revision of basic pay scales and allowances” for civil servants of the federal government 2016.

According to details, the authorities issued memorandum, stating that “the president has been pleased to sanction the revision of basic pay scales and allowances with effect from July 1, 2016 for the civil employees of the federal government, paid out of civil estimates and from the defence estimates as detailed in the following paragraph.

The civil servants have expressed their gratitude to the authorities concerned of the federal government by issuance of “revised  basic pay scales and allowance”.

The memorandum further stated to increase the basic pay and allowances of the civil servant employees by 30 percent.
