The minister condemned the Indian oppression on the innocent and defenseless people of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK). He said Kashmir was an unfinished agenda of the partition of Sub-continent and that of the United Nations (UN) and Pakistan remained committed for its peaceful settlement through negotiation and dialogue.

Barjees said the federal government was taking keen interest in the development of different sectors of AJK like health, education, tourism and infrastructure. It was implementing the manifesto of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and working affectively for the progress and development of the area, he added.
