ISLAMABAD: Some people are offering cash prize to citizen through SMS of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP). In this scenario government must take strict action against them.
An official of BISP informed that a large number were identified which are used in the scam of offering huge amount on the name of BISP with the involvement of Telecom companies, Federal Investigation Agency, Ministries of Interior and Information and Broadcasting. The numbers were blocked and complete investigation has been initiated to catch the people behind this game, the official told APP adding, First Information Report would be lodged against them and no one would be spared.
He said that the BISP is a project initiated to facilitate the marginalized segments of society and vigorous punishments would be announced for those who found guilty so that others would be aware and restrain from doing any such kind of practice in future.
