LAHORE: Punjab Government has evolved a comprehensive strategy for sending skilled and other workforce to Gulf countries especially Qatar and Dubai.
The initiative is being taken keeping in view the increased demand of manpower in these countries, Parliamentary Secretary Labour and Human Resource Punjab Mian Naveed Ali said talking to APP here Saturday.
He said that labourers community have a very important role in economy and the PML-N leadership fully recognize and understand importance of this community.
He said that Punjab government has taken number of measures for the welfare of labourers and more steps will be announced for their betterment in budget for next financial year.
He said that maximum opportunities and facilities within the limited resources of the province are being utilised to provide training in different skills to the manpower and to enhance capacities of the trained one.
