Govt promotes FBR Chairman Asim Ahmed, Surriya Butt & Ahmad Mujtaba Memon to BS-22

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Dr. Asim Ahmed along with two other officers of Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) Suraiya Ahmed Butt and Dr. Ahmad Mujtaba Memon have been promoted to BS-22.

With these promotions, there are now three BS-22 officers in Pakistan Customs Service. Director General Customs Intelligence and Investigation Abdul Rasheed Shaikh are performing their duties in BS-22.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif presided over a high-powered selection board meeting for the promotion of officers from grade 21 to grade 22.

The meeting considered and cleared officers belonging to Pakistan Administrative Service Foreign Service of Pakistan, Pakistan Customs Service, Inland Revenue Service, Pakistan Railways (C&T) Group, Information Group, Commerce and Trade Group, Military Land and Cantonment Group, and Intelligence Bureau, for promotion to grade 22.
