Dr Irshad, Safdar Hussain among 13 other officials moved to next grades

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has approved promotions of 13 government officials. The approval was granted during a high meeting which was presided over by the prime minister.

Sources told Customs Today that besides others,  FBR Member Inland Revenue Operations Dr Mohammad Irshad and Chief Commissioner Large Taxpayers Unit Chaudhary Safdar Hussain were also promoted to the next grade.

Sources said that Chairman Nisar Mohammad Khan, Director General Withholding Tax Haroon M. Tareen, Member Inland Revenue Policy Rehmatullah Khan Wazir, Member Customs Nasir Masroor Ahmed, Member IT and Spokesman FBR Dr Mohammad Iqbal, Member Taxpayer Audit Seema Majid, Member Legal Shaukat Ali and other officials extended their heartfelt congratulations to the newly promoted officials.

Prior to current his assignment, Member Inland Revenue Operations Dr Mohammad Irshad was performing as Chief Commissioner Large Taxpayers  while Chaudhary Safdar Hussain is performing his duties as Chief Commissioner Large Taxpayers Unit in Lahore from 2014. Earlier he also worked as FBR Member Legal. Other officials belong to DMG, foreign service and PSP group.
