MULTAN: The Punjab government is providing subsidy on different fertilizers to enhance agriculture production.
According to Assistant Director Information Agriculture Naveed Asmat, fertilizers includes DAP, Ammonium Nitrate, Nitrophos, and NP. The subsidy would decrease eight per cent expenses and increase five per cent production, he added. He said Secretary Agriculture Punjab Muhammad Mehmood had also activated monitoring committees to ensure availability of fertilizers, pesticides, tubewell water and other necessary items on cheaper rates.
