Govt should ask UAE to provide list of investors

ISLAMABAD: Director General Inland Revenue and Investigation Haroon Tareen directed Director Inland Revenue I&I Dr. Bashir Ahmad to ask government to contact government of UAE to provide them list of persons who are investing in booming Real Estate sector of Dubai.

He said that according to para 27 of a treaty signed by both Pakistan and UAE government, they are bound to provide details of a investor who invests in UAE. He said that officials of the Federal Board of Revenue not taking much interest in this case.
