The government has also reduced the price of light diesel oil by Rs30.61 per litre. As a result, the new price of light diesel oil has been set at Rs244.93 per litre.

The latest revision is expected to provide relief to sectors that rely heavily on these fuels. The reduction in jet fuel prices is likely to benefit the aviation industry, while lower light diesel oil rates may ease costs for various industrial and agricultural activities.

The notification states that the revised prices have come into effect immediately, allowing consumers and businesses to benefit from the reduction without delay.
