ISLAMABAD: The Finance Division has issued a notification reducing the petrol price by Rs2 per litre, bringing it to Rs263.45 per litre, effective from December 1 for the next fifteen days.
This move follows recommendations from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) and relevant ministries.
While the cut offers short-term relief to consumers, analysts caution that ongoing global oil volatility, rising energy costs, and domestic economic pressures may trigger further fuel price swings.
