Govt taking measures to boost industry, trade: minister

LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Industries, Commerce and Investment Sheikh Alauddin on Thursday said today’s Pakistan was more prosperous, secured and developed due to visionary polices of the incumbent government.

“China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will prove the greatest landmark in economic history of Pakistan,” he added.  He made these remarks while addressing the Pakistan Day ceremony here at Aiwan-e-Iqbal.

The minister said the Punjab government was taking solid steps to boost its industry and trade for which it was going to introduce a comprehensive industrial policy and Industrial Regulatory Authority Punjab (IRAP) to address the youth issues.  He urged the people to love Pakistan because it was obtained after untired efforts and sacrifices of their forefathers.  The minister prayed, “May Allah bless us all with integrity to be proud of our country. May we all understand true meanings of the Pakistan Resolution passed on this day”.
