ISLAMABAD: The present government will achieve development goals under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, said Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and chairman, Millennium Development Goals, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed.
Chairing the steering committee meeting of “Millennium Development Goals” here, he said that after the approval of the budget by the parliament another meeting on the subject will be held to review its performance and future goals, said a press release issued here.
Sheikh Aftab said that we will look into previous years’ development schemes and standards of work to formulate strategies for future development schemes to facilitate masses.
The minister urged the concern departments for timely completion of all development projects, saying that delay in these schemes would not be tolerated.
The meeting was attended by representatives from all four provinces.
