Govt to increase duties, tax on poultry, fishing industry

LAHORE: The government has decided to enhance customs duty and sales tax on poultry and fishing industry. The government is also considering declaring zone rating on export of frozen and packed poultry products,.

Sources informed Customs Today that five percent duty will be imposed on import of chicks and eggs, while the government is also examining a proposal to impose five percent customs duty on soybean meal.
