LAHORE: Water and Power Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has stated that the government will soon resolve the issue of power crisis and power tariff will also be decreased.
Speaking at a seminar, he said that the recent fall in POL prices was result of international politics.
He said that the government was serious in building Bhasha Dam and the Neelum Jehlum Project would also be completed within year and a half time period.

Taking a dig at Planning Commission, the minister sarcastically said WAPDA was able to build link canals, dams and other projects only because there was no such commission at that time. “There would have been no Taj Mahal had there been a planning commission in Moghul era,” he added.
