BHAKHAR: Over 132,000 metric tonnes of wheat will be purchased in the district under the Punjab government wheat purchase scheme 2017.
Deputy Commissioner Syed Bilal Haider told in a meeting here Monday that 14 purchase centres would be set up in the district for the purpose. The meeting was told that coordinators have been appointed for the centers in Bhakkar-I & II, Noatak, 51 TDA, Khansar, Darya Khan, Barkat Wala, Kalorekot, Shah Alam, Chandni Chowk, Mankera, 67-ML and 70-ML.
