Govt will soon announce plan to facilitate taxpayers: Chief Commissioner Imran Kazmi

SIALKOT: Chief Commissioner Regional Tax Office Sialkot region Imran Raza Kazmi has said that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has strictly instructed to all RTOs to achieve revenue targets before June 30, 2016 and the RTO teams are working day and night to achieve targets.

While talking to Customs Today, Imran Kazmi said that RTO Sialkot region comprises districts Sialkot, Gujrat and Narowal and officials of all districts are performing their duties with full devotion to achieve the targets.

He said the the RTO offices have tightened noose around the defaulters and tax evaders whereas various teams are also in the field to recover taxes from defaulters. He said that the FBR directed the RTOs not to spare any defaulter and tax evader and take stern action against him. He said that the government has made a plan to facilitate the taxpayers and this plan would be announced soon.
