‘Govt will pay handsome amount to affectees of Ravi city’

LAHORE: The Punjab govt will pay a handsome amount to the affectees of Ravi city for compensation’s and exemption affectees gave us their written proposal in 2 days. This was stated by SM Imran spokesman’s Ravi Urban Development Authority the occasion of Special meeting for affectees.

On Rashid Aziz Chairman RUDA directions a special meeting was held in Assistant Commissioner Ferozewala office. Civil administration along with RUDA officials had a second round of meeting with affectees of area falling under Land Acquisition in AC Ferozwala office.

SMBR Baber Tarar and SM Imran were part of dialogue. RUDA official and Civil Administration assured to convey their grievances at appropriate forum. Affectees agreed to share their proposal of compensation against their land being acquired in writing within two days to civil Administration.

Executive Director RUDA, Mr. Rao Muzaffar and SM Imran assured to guard rights of affectees in line with the Land Acquisition Act.

On this assurance of RUDA officials and civil Administration Representative of affectees suspended their protest call and both agreed to continue dialogue process to reach amicable solution.
