Govt’s initiative of parliamentarians’ tax directory commended

LAHORE: Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has lauded the government’s initiative of making available the Parliamentarians’ Tax Directory. It appreciated the vision of the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister for taking a critical step towards transparency and public access, official sources said.

PILDAT, which has been working since 2002 towards promoting transparency and access in legislative institutions, has supported the initiative terming it as a key step towards enhancing public trust in political institutions and public representatives.
