ISLAMABAD: Apart from other provisions and conditions under newly-introduced new risk-based sales tax registration system named ‘RegSys’, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has bound applicants to attach digital GPS-tagged photographs of their business premises to avoid unnecessary visits of field staff.
As per details, photographs of installed machinery, electricity meters and gas meters are also required and an electronic website is provided for this purpose. This android based application is available on Google. It has also been provided that those applicants who are unable to file applications online have the option to approach the local registration office (LRO) of their Regional Tax Office concerned for registration.
