ATHENS: ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Norge has extended its timecharters of two Rem Offshore platform supply vessels (PSVs).
No rates for the contract extensions were disclosed, but Rem said the contracts were “made at market terms”. The contract period for Rem Server (5,300 dwt, built 2011) has been renewed until Jun 1, 2016. For Rem Supporter (5,300 dwt, built 2012), the timecharter period has been extended until August 1, 2016.
While working in the Yara Sea last year, the two vessels had their contracts terminated with an Exxon-Rosneft joint venture when trade sanctions against Russia entered into force. Rem says it was compensated for the termination.
