Greece’s TaxisNet electronic tax return system’s failure to be investigated: FM

ATHENS: Alternate Finance Minister Tryfon Alexiadis has blamed the General Secretariat of Public Revenue for the problems with the TaxisNet electronic tax return system which prompted the government to issue an extension to the deadline for individuals and businesses to file tax returns.

According to an announcement by the alternate minister, the deadlines for tax submissions have been extended to August 28 for legal entities and August 30 for individuals due to the problems that the TaxisNet system has been experiencing.
