NEW YORK: An investigation has been launched to determine what sparked a fire at the Air Cargo Facility in Tiyan early Tuesday morning.
According to Guam Fire Chief Joey San Nicolas, the point of origin was identified as a unit occupied by Guam Customs and Quarantine. Because the fire sprinkler worked appropriately, fire damage was minimal.
The fire alarms still going off and Customs officers sweeping out excess water. Guam Customs and Quarantine director Pedro Leon Guerrero was also on scene, but denied to comment.
