Gujranwala FIA arrests 7 human traffickers, including proclaimed offenders

SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Gujranwala, nabbed seven human traffickers, including proclaimed offenders during several raids.

According to FIA Deputy Director Khalid Anees, the FIA teams conducted raids in Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, Narowal, Hafizabad and Mandi Bahauddin. The officials arrested Akram Shah, Asif Iqbal, Iftikhar Sahi and Matloob Shah, Abdul Wakeel, Muhammad Riaz and Asif Mehmood.

He said that the FIA teams recovered Rs 2 million, five passports, fake documents, fake medical certificates, air tickets, letter pads of various embassies, companies and educational institutions and fake visas.

Meanwhile, the Turkish government deported 50 Pakistani, who reached Turkey on fake visas and documents. The deported Pakistani landed at Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL) by Air Arabia Airline and nabbed by the FIA.
