Gujranwala FIA nabs 13 human traffickers

SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Gujranwala, has nabbed 13 human traffickers-cum-proclaimed offenders during a crackdown.

Reportedly, FIA Deputy Director Khalid Anees constituted a team under the supervision of Sub-Inspector Mohsin Waheed Butt to nab human traffickers. The team conducted raids in Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, Mandi Bahuddin and Narowal.

During the raids, the team arrested Muhammad Shafique, Akram Shah, Asif Iqbal, Zafar Masih, Ayyaz, Muhammad Qasim, Saeed, Umer, Dilawar, Niamat, Rizwan, Ali Hassan and Kamran.

The accused persons were involved in sending people abroad, especially Turkey, Malta, Spain, UK, Russia, Malaysia, and Suadi Arabia. The team recovered fake visas, documents and letter pads of several embassies and companies. Cases have been registered against the accused persons.
