Gujranwala FIA nabs passenger travelling to Canada on fake visa

SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Gujranwala, has arrested a passenger at Sialkot International Airport Limited (Sialkot) who tried to go to Canada on fake visa sticker via Dubai.

Reportedly, a passenger, Zohaib Suhail Paracha son of Suhail Aslam Pracha was going to Dubai and a visa of Canada was endorsed on his passport. Meanwhile, FIA Inspector Imran Bhatti got information that the endorsed Canadian visa was not genuine.

The inspector offloaded Zohaib and contacted the Canadian Embassy for getting confirmation. The embassy disclosed that visa was fake and this visa was not endorsed under visa number which was mentioned on the visa.

Hence, the Inspector interrogated Zohaib about visa endorsement; he disclosed that he paid Rs 1.5 million to a person named Nasir for visa. The Inspector handed over Zohaib to FIA Police Station for registration of a case and further investigation is underway.
