Gujranwala IR Intelligence launches crackdown against 400 tax defaulters

SIALKOT: Following k the directions of the Federal Board of Revenue, the Inland Revenue (IR) Intelligence and Investigation has launched a crackdown against tax defaulter factories, beauty parlors, etc.

Officials said that intelligence teams has been formed to recover taxes from 400 defaulters in Gujranwala and Sialkot regions, adding that the teams will raid the offices and shops of the tax defaulters.

They added that FBR has directed the officials to continue the recovery process without accepting any political influence. The defaulters were reluctant to pay taxes since long that urged the board to bring the defaulters to table without discrimination.
