Gwadar Customs confiscates 20kg charas

KARACHI: The Gwadar Customs has seized a huge quantity of narcotics during a successful raid in Omara area and managed to arrest the suspected drug smuggler.

According to reports, Gwadar Collector Saeed Akram received information that some elements were planning to smuggle drugs out of the city in a pick-up truck. After receiving the tip, the collector informed the anti-smuggling squad about the activity and instructed them to foil the smuggling bid, besides arresting all those involved. The team established check-posts at the main entry and exit points of Omara and started checking vehicles. During this activity, they spotted a suspicious pick-up truck and intercepted it.
