KARACHI: The Customs Gwadar has recovered 1,800 liters of Iranian motor engine oil, while in another crackdown seized 200 chargeable fans and other electronic goods.
Sources told Customs Today that collector Gwadar Customs received information that some smugglers are planning to smuggle Iranian engine oil to other parts of the country. He constituted a raiding team which intercepted an oil tanker at Warsak Road and recovered 1,800 liters of smuggled Iranian motor oil.
While during a routine checking on roads, the customs team recovered 200 chargeable fans from a Mazda truck. Customs authorities seized the goods and forwarded the case to customs adjudication for further proceedings.
