Gwadar port to open new era of prosperity in the region: Chairman BOI

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Board of Investment, Miftah Ismail on Friday said that Gwadar port would open new era of prosperity in the region.

Talking to a news channel, he said that Gwadar port would be made operational with the cooperation of China to benefit all the provinces of the country.

“Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif wanted to make Gwadar city for improving the life of the people of the country,” he said.

Chairman said that the government would provide friendly environment to the investors seeking to establish their businesses in this region.

“The federal government with the cooperation of the provincial government of Sindh had taken measures to restore permanent peace in Karachi area,” he said.

Miftah Ismail said that law enforcement agencies are performing their duties diligently and efficiently to hold peace in Karachi.

To a question, he said that the political personalities were playing their active role in restoring peace in the business hub city.
