LONDON: Halo 5: Guardians developers have released a new promotional website entitled “Hunt The Truth,” promising to reveal new information about this upcoming game this weekend.
Aside from the counter and that hashtag, the page boasts the image of a bullet bearing the engraving “TRAITOR.” Clicking said hashtag will bring up the option to tweet the page, along with an autogenerated message, “What seems like the end, is only the beginning.”
Really not a lot to go by, though given the upcoming Halo 5 protagonist Jameson Locke is known as a “manhunter,” the conspiratorial theme makes a little bit of sense. As of writing, the countdown still has over two days and 13 hours left to go, before we find out whatever it is Microsoft and 343 have in store.
Halo 5 Guardians is currently expected to launch sometime this fall. Earlier this week, the Halo: Nightfall live-action film was released, offering a build-up to the next Halo game.
