Haroon lauds Customs North Region for showing outstanding performance during his tenure

ISLAMABAD: The Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Revenue Haroon Akhtar Khan visited Chief Collector North and appreciated Customs North region for showing satisfactory revenue performance during his tenure.

Sources of Chief Collector office told Customs Today that Haroon during his visit to Chief Collector office all four Clectorates of North Region which comprises Customs Collectorate Islamabad, Peshawar, Sialkot and Gilgit Baltistan alongwith Chief Collector North and Member Customs of FBR were welcome him.

The sources told that Chief Collector North Awais Agha in his presentation told that during current financial year 2017-18 the North Region showed 14% increase against assigned revenue target under all heads, he also thanked to Member Customs Zahid Kokhar and Special Assistant to Prime Minister Haroon Akhtar for provide guide line towards Customs department for showing outstanding performance during FY 2017-18.

During his address Haroon Akhtar appreciated Customs department specially Customs North region to demonstrate very good revenue collection performance, the sources added that Haroon shared his experiences attached with Customs department and showed his satisfaction on there working atmosphere.

Sources told that at the end of the ceremony the Member Customs and Chief Collector North presented souvenir to Haroon Akhtar Khan.
