Hazara Customs collects Rs 7.07m during first 15 days of January 2017

ISLAMABAD: The Customs Station Hazara collected Rs 7.07 million under the head of all duty and taxes during the first 15 days of January of the financial year 2016-17.

According to details, Customs Hazara station showed satisfactory performance and collected Rs 2.29 million under the head of Customs Duty (CD), Rs 0.17 million under the head of miscellaneous surcharges as for as Rs 0.01 million under the head of Redemption Duty on imports during the above said period.

Sources said that during the above said period, the customs collected Rs 3.11 million under sales tax on palm oil duty, Rs 1.24 million under head of additional income tax and Rs 0.25 million under head of federal excise duty.

Whereas, in first 15 days of December of FY2016-17, the customs collected of Rs 15.64 million under the head of all duties taxes. Customs Hazara station officials are optimistic about achieving their assigned targets for the month of January of FY2016-17.
