Hazara Customs generates Rs15. 64m during fist 15 days of Dec

ISLAMABAD: Peshawar Customs Station Hazara collected revenue Rs15.64 million under the head of all duty/taxes during first 15 days of December financial year 2016-17.

According to details told by sources of Hazara Customs Station that performance was goods during first 15 day of December FY16-17 adding that, during said period the Hazara Customs collected Rs4.59 million under the head of customs duty as for as it collected Rs0.40 million in the wake of various surcharges.

During corresponding period the department collected revenue Rs0.02 million under the head of redemption duty on imports as for as the Hazara collected revenue Rs7.24 million as sales tax.

Customs sources added that during above mentioned period Hazara Customs collected Rs2.89 million as additional income tax while Rs0.05 million under the head of federal excise duty on Imports of Rs1/kg.
