Hazara Customs generates Rs305.56m during H1

ISLAMABAD: Customs station Hazara collected revenue Rs305.56 million during first half of July to December financial year FY2016-17

ISLAMABAD: Peshawar’s Customs station Hazara collected Rs305.56 million during first half of July to December financial year FY2016-17 under head of all duties, surcharges and taxes.

Additional Deputy Collector (ADC) Fazle Samad told Customs Today that during first half of FY16-17 the Customs Station Hazara collected Rs89.83 million under the head of customs duty while Rs0.75 million generated as withholding surcharge.

ADC Samad said that during first half of above said period the customs station collected revenue Rs7.77 million in the wake of miscellaneous duty and it collected revenue Rs0.51 million under the head of redemption duty.

He added that during first half of FY16-17 Hazara Station collated revenue Rs0.23 million under head of sales tax as for as the said station collected revenue Rs140.10 million under the head of sales tax on palm oil.

He said that above said customs station collected revenue Rs55.87 million under head of additional income tax as for as the Hazara Customs station collected revenue Rs10.50 million under head of total federal excise duty on Imports.

He said that Hazara Station showed excellent performance of collected revenue during first half and we are hopeful that during the 2nd half of financial year 2016-17 it will maintain efforts regarding collection of revenue.
