HBL, ZTBL, NBP, other banks move banking court to recover Rs4.45m from 7 defaulters

LAHORE: Different banks moved the banking court against 7 defaulters of personal, auto and credit cards loans to the tune of Rs4.45 million.

Summit Bank filed a case against a defaulter Ghulam Ali Bhatti to recover Rs 1500,000 while MCB moved the court against Sajid Anayat to recover Rs 500,000, Akbar Ali to recover Rs 219,000 and Khalid Akbar to recover Rs 646,000.

National Bank of Pakistan claimed the default amount of Rs 1,196,000 from a citizen Yaseen and Habib Bank Limited approached the court to recover RS 193,000 from Iftikhar Ahmad.

ZTBL moved the court to recover the amount of Rs 204,000 from Mumtaz Khan.

These financial institutions have moved the court against the defaulters, seeking the recovery of the amount or issuing of arrest warrants on non-compliance.
