HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) has urged the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to extend the date for submission of Income Tax returns to December 31.
In a press release, HCCI Vice President Turab Ali Khwaja said a number of businessmen and traders had either gone to perform Hajj or became engaged in the mourning events of Muharram during last 2 months.
He requested that due to such religious obligations many businessmen could not complete the process of filing the Income Tax. The HCCI’s Vice President urged the FBR to consider those issues and extend the last date to December 31.
