Hearing in TCS smuggling case adjourned till Dec 10

ISLAMABAD: Hearing in Rawalpindi High Court Bench of Lahore High Court on bail plea of TCS Courier Company and Smart Zone Smuggling accused Shakir Ullah and Ghazanfar Gill could not be held due to absence of their defense counsel Aitzaz Ahsan.

The court fixed December 10 as next date of hearing. Deputy Director Shahid Jan and his counsel Ameen Feroz represented Customs I& I in the court. An application was submitted in the court on behlaf of counsel for the accused that he was busy and could not attend hearing . Therefore, new date should be given for the hearing. The Customs I&I prayed the court that it was not possible for them to stay in the court for long. Later, Justice Mazhar Iqbal Sindhu adjourned the hearing till December 10 and sent the accused again in Adiala Jail.
