LONDON: Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce donating £500 towards gifts for young people leaving care.
The money was used to buy kitchen, bathroom and bedroom accessories and decorative items to help care leavers settle into their new homes.
Care leavers are young people 16-21 in the process of moving on from foster homes and residential care into independence. Moving to independence is an especially big step for vulnerable young people needing extra support.
