Honda launches 2016 Civic model

LAHORE: Honda Atlas Cars has launched its new 10th Generation Honda Civic model 2016, in three grades 1.8 i-VTEC worth Rs 2.4 million, 1.8 i-VTEC Oreal for Rs 2.5 million and 1.8 i-VTEC Turbo worth Rs 3 million.

The launch was very colourful and graceful in the presence of a large number of people from all walks of life at a local hotel on Friday.

Honda Motor Regional Operations Chief Operating Officer Noriaki Abe said that the Pakistan automobile market has tremendous potential to grow and all new models of civic would attract Pakistani customers with its innovative, elegant designs and high performance.

Asia and Oceania Civic Development Project Leader Takao Kimura explained in detail the technical specifications and design concept of all new civic models.

Sales and Marketing General Manager Nadeem Azam introduced the new models and gave an overview of the car while highlighting the features of all three variants.

He said the new models possess continuously variable transmission (CVT), electric parking brake, auto brake hold, SRS airbags, vehicle stability assist, hill start assist, anti-lock breaking system (ABS), emergency stop signal (ESS), immobiliser, auto climate control system, rear entertainment, and navigation systems. VTEC Turbo engine was introduced for the first time in Pakistan with advance features such as remote engine starter, he added.
