Honda Motorcycle and Scooter introduces its “Honda Livo,” 110cc motorcycle in India

NEW DELHI: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter introduce “Honda Livo,” in India an 110cc motorcycle on Friday. The Motorcycle has been priced at Rs. 52,989 for the drum brakes model and Rs. 55,489 for the disc brake model.

The HMSI President and CEO Keita Muramatsu said, “Livo, is the certain raiser of Honda’s aggressive pace of new and exciting motorcycle models line up for India.” He further added, “The Company will deliver on the promise of 15 new products in India this year.”

Currently, the company is selling the three Dream Series models launched back in 2012, in the 110cc segment including Honda Dream Yuga. Whereas, it’s erstwhile partner and the two-wheeler market leader, Hero MotoCorp sells six different models in the same 110cc segment.

The Motorcycle comes with a 109.19cc air cooled and 4 stroke engine, which provides maximum 8.25 BHP power at 7,500 RPM (Revolutions per Minute).

With the all new 110cc Honda Livo, HMSI plans to bull’s eye youths, comprising students and young entrepreneurs.

Emphasizing the importance of the Honda Livo in the company’s bid to make a better presence in the entry-level segment. “Livo is developed keeping in mind the very start of motorcycling that’s the 100-110cc displacement segment, which is often the first bike of majority of people in India,” said Y.S. Guleria HMSI Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing.

According to the reports, the manufacturing part of the Honda Livo will take place at Honda’s Narsapura Plant in Karnataka and will be available in four different color variants.
