HONG KONG: Hong Kong Customs yesterday (March 31) seized about two kilograms of suspected methamphetamine and one kilogram of suspected crack cocaine with an estimated market value of about $2.3 million in Wong Tai Sin and Sheung Shui respectively.
During an anti-narcotics operation in Wong Tai Sin mounted yesterday afternoon, Customs officers intercepted a man and found about two kilograms of suspected methamphetamine and a batch of packaging paraphernalia in his residence. The man, aged 18, was then arrested. Later on the same day, Customs officers intercepted a man and found a small quantity of suspected crack cocaine on him in another operation conducted in Sheung Shui. The man, aged 23, was then arrested and was escorted to his residence nearby where a small quantity of suspected methamphetamine, about one kilogram of suspected crack cocaine and a batch of drug manufacturing and packaging paraphernalia were seized.
